A constantly evolving fair, growing each year with an ever-increasing variety of offerings, all in a high-quality musical atmosphere. Musicians and manufacturers take the time to exchange ideas and get to know each other in a warm and friendly setting.
For Despiau Chevalets, it was an opportunity to welcome many visitors, with a particularly eclectic mix of customers and prospects. While major European players were of course present, we also had the pleasure of meeting visitors from further afield, notably from China, Japan, and Canada.
Passionate, curious and committed luthiers took the time to share their needs regarding bridges, both in terms of models and the acoustic properties of the woods used. Our Despiau Planet range continues to attract a great deal of interest, with professionals confidently adopting these products known for their consistent quality.
The bow products also attracted considerable attention.
Their diversity catered for the different habits and preferences of bow makers, arousing the curiosity of many visitors.
In just three years, the Akustika exhibition has firmly established itself as a key event on the European musical calendar.
